The cinemizer OLED compensates visual impairments from -5 to +2 diopters. What about astigmatism?
Astigmatism cannot be compensated.
While the battery is charging, the battery status LED flashes red, even if it was green earlier.
When the cinemizer OLED is in use and the battery status LED is green, it is possible that the charge level is just above orange status. If a USB plug is inserted for charging, the battery status LED flashes red. This informs the user to charge the battery longer – which is also good for battery life.
I can't turn off the cinemizer OLED by pressing the ON/OFF button.
You can turn off the cinemizer OLED by briefly pressing the ON/OFF button. If you hold it, the cinemizer OLED restarts.
I don't see a OSD on the right display.
Because of technical constraints in 1080p FRAME mode HDMI 1.4 (3D), the OSD is visible in left display only. In all other mode the OSD is visible in both eyes simultaneously.
When playing a 3D video in a top-bottom format with resolution of 1920 × 1080i 50 Hz, there is no top-bottom 3D format menu item in the OSD.
You can find a list of supported 3D formats for each resolution here.
Why can't I select side-by-side 3D format at 1080p?
Why can't I select side-by-side 3D format at 1080p?
The cinemizer OLED is supporting top-bottom and line-interleaved 3D format at 1080p. Side-by-side is supported at 1080i (interlaced). You can find a list of supported 3D formats for each resolution here.
The 3D effect is nothing special.
The 3D effect depends primarily on the recording or production of the video or game.
If the 3D effect is not that pronounced, this is the result of the original film.
I get a headache while watching videos in 3D.
Unfortunately, there are 3D movies on the market that do not have very good 3D quality. This leads to headaches and has nothing to do with the cinemizer OLED.
I have a 3D video in top-bottom formation on my PC. How can I convert a top-bottom 3D formation to side-by-side?
The Stereoscopic Player program from www.3dtv.at allows you to select the input and output formats, thus turning a side-by-side format into top-bottom.
In the 3D mode, I see in one eye either a vertical or horizontal part (stripe) from the image of the other perspective.
The separation of the left and right image in the video, game, etc. is not exactly in the center, but slightly offset. Therefore, you must manually adjust the display horizontally or vertically in the 3D mode via the OSD.
My 3D video from my PC does not appear correctly in the video glasses.
The cinemizer OLED features 16:9 displays. Therefore, 3D videos should be in the 16:9 format. A common mistake is to set 800 x 600 resolution on a computer instead of 16:9. As a result, the 3D image on the cinemizer OLED is distorted. It is therefore important to set 16:9 resolution on your PC (HDMI) in order to achieve right/left image separation corresponding to the original. This is, e.g. 1280 x 720 pixels.
Why is there no 3D effect when I play a 3D video on my cinemizer?
Ensure that a true 3D (stereoscopic) game or video is being played. Depending on the 3D format (side-by-side, top-bottom or line interleaved), this 3D format must be configured on the cinemizer in the OSD before the multifunction switch is set to 3D mode by holding it (~3 seconds).
Why do I see a double image in the glasses although I set the right 3D image in the OSD?
Use the OSD to inform the cinemizer OLED which 3D format is being played. Once you have selected the right 3D format in the OSD, you have to activate the 3D mode by holding the button (~3 seconds).
What games support 3D?
There are already a number of 3D games for the various gaming platforms. There are more than 50 for PS3, more than 20 for XBox and more than 100 3D games for PCs.
When I play a video, does the cinemizer OLED convert it to 3D?
